Most people know Toosii as the rapper who has hit records with well-known artists such as Summer Walker and 21 Savage. However, the rap artist recently decided to pivot from his music career.
Toosii Reveals Commitment to Syracuse
This past August, Toosii revealed that he would be stepping away from the music scene to pursue a long-time dream of his. To play college football. On Monday (December 1), the rap artist revealed that the dream has officially become a reality.
In a social media post, Toosii encouraged his followers to use his commitment to the University as another reason for them to pursue their dreams.
“For every kid who ever had a dream, make it a reality. God’s will is the way, and no one can stop it, not even the devil,” the rap artist wrote in a social media post on Monday.
He also added: “I wanna thank my lord and savior Jesus Christ for even giving me the strength to chase what I believed when so many people told me I couldn’t. Thank you to the people who supported me as well; it will never go unnoticed. To be born in Syracuse and move to North Carolina at age 12 and haven’t been back since. When Coach Fran called, I knew it was a sign from God. So with that being said, Cuse, I’m coming home.”

After Toosii announced on social media, fans flooded his mentions with congratulatory messages.
“Big time. Keep being an inspiration to the youth. I’ll have to take the trip from Cleveland to Syracuse to watch you lace ’em up,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Proud of you, G! That’s going to be fire if you got your own intro music out of the tunnel,” another user added.
“I ain’t never seen a Rapper go D1 lol this tough,” a third user said.
