POORSTACY Girlfriend Arrested Following His Death
As police continue to investigate the rising artist’s mysterious death, an interesting development has surfaced. According to a Wednesday (December 3) report from TMZ, Boca Raton police have arrested POORSTACY’s child’s mother.
According to the outlet, the woman, named Nicole Grikstas, was arrested on Saturday (November 29), just hours after the rapper passed away. Boca Raton police booked Grikstas on a child neglect without causing great bodily harm charge. After the suspicion that she may have been abusing drugs in front of her and PoorStacy’s young child in the days leading up to his passing.
But that is not the only shocking development regarding the artist’s death. TMZ also notes that Nicole and POORSTACY’s child were in the room when he took his life.
When she interviewed with the police over the weekend, Nicole told them that three of them arrived back at the hotel late Friday evening. Shortly after arriving at the hotel, Nicole says that she and POORSTACY both used cocaine. She also noted that early Saturday morning, around 3:00 AM, she had taken a dosage of cocaine.
She also says that she and the rapper had argued “frequently” through the night. With both of them accusing each other of cheating. She also noted that she did not try to remove their young child from the “explosive” environment.
She also noted that at some point during the argument, the rap star accused her of hiding drugs from him. And stripped her down to ensure that she was not hiding them on her person. And when the drugs could not be located, POORSTACY pulled out a gun and threatened to shoot her if she didn’t give the drugs to him.
Nicole went on to say that POORSTACY went back and forth between pointing the gun at her and himself for about an hour. Before he ultimately took his own life.
