Janice Combs Rips Kirk Burrows Over Abuse Allegations

“The allegations stated by Mr. Kirk Burrows [sic] that my son slapped me while we were conversing after the tragic City College events on December 28, 1991, are inaccurate and patently false,” Diddy’s mother said in her statement to Deadline.

Burrows alleged that the slap occurred after the tragic events of the 1991 celebrity game at City College. Which was co-organized by the Bad Boy Records founder.

Nine people died, and 29 were injured. Due to overcrowding, inadequate security, and poor crowd control at a single entry point, leading to a deadly surge down a stairway and into a well, overwhelming victims with pressure.

Janice noted that it was a “sad day” for everyone who was in attendance at the city college that day. And slammed Burrows for using the event to spread “fake narratives.”

“That was a very sad day for all of us … For him to use this tragedy and incorporate fake narratives to further his prior failed and current attempt to gain what was never his — Bad Boy Records — is wrong, outrageous, and past offensive,” Janice added.

However, it is important to note that Burrows has a personal beef with Diddy and his mother. Burrows alleges that he initially was a 25% co-owner of Bad Bly Records. However, one day Diddy approached him asking for him to sign the 25% back over to him, and when he refused, he threatened to beat him with a baseball bat, and was ultimately forced to sign it over. Combs allegedly gave the 25% to Janice and never got back what he was owed.
