Rap artist Drake has enlisted yet another basketball player to feud with. This time, it’s former Milwaukee Bucks standout, Brandon Jennings.
Drake Claps Back at Brandon Jennings
Jennings is one of the co-hosts on Gil’s Arena, a highly controversial sports talk show. During a recent episode of the show, the topic of Canadian basketball players was discussed. Jennings suggested that the Canadian players are soft. And of course, the Compton native likened them to Drake in his feud with Kendrick Lamar.
“It’s like the Kendrick and Drake beef,” Jennings said. ” Once you boom one of them, they gon’ lay down. That’s just me, though. That’s just me looking at what I think is gon to happen in the future.”
It did not take long for Drizzy to respond to the former New York Knicks guard. In a recent Instagram story, the Grammy winner posted a picture of himself and Jennings posing for a photo. He appears to insinuate that he is a fan.
In a second post, Drake posts a picture where Jennings shouts out Canadian-born player and 2025 NBA MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Of course, fans on social media had a lot to say about Drake’s response.
“So damn Brandon Jennings, another one who just ran with the narrative when he really was an OVO supporter,” one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Delusion at its finest! We saw Drake get his ass whooped. Stop this weird sh** man,” a second user added.
“Lmao y’all surprised the sensitive “rapper” still in his feelings? This is the same pattern with him,” a third user chimed in.
Drake is set to drop his ninth studio album, Iceman, in the coming months. It will be interesting to see if Jennings catches some bars on the upcoming project.
