From “I Am Dame Dash” to “Letter To Dame” Cam has done nothing but keep it real. This one gonna hit Dame in the heart, he absolutely smoked this.
Full song debuts tomorrow on Talk With Flee (5pm ET) pic.twitter.com/sh7rBj17Vx
After the preview dropped, fans were hyped to see the famed rapper getting back to his roots.
“This is how you tell a story and rap.. Beat hard too. I see you, Cam,” one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Cam aging like fine wine. Who produced the beat?” a second user asked.
“Bad part about this? Dame will lie about everything Cam rapped. Watch,” a third user chimed in.
Cam’ron and Dame Dash were a dynamic duo when they were part of the Roc-A-Fella record label in the early 2000s. But over the years, their relationship has soured. Especially after 50 Cent claimed that he had acquired the rights to Dash’s 2002 film, Paid in Full, in 2025, and employed Killa Cam as the executive producer for a television series that would be based on the film.
The full freestyle will drop on Wednesday (January 21) at 5 PM EST. It will be interesting to see if Dame responds.
