Of course, the updated prison photo caused a stir among fans on social media.
“One of the hardest fumbles of all time. Had a #1 song. Fumbled a Drake ft then started hitting licks again,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“They had given bro every chance possible to stay free, and he still somehow ended up in the system,” a second user added.
“The Pooh Shiesty link-up after his release will be epic,” a third user chimed in.
SpotemGottem’s prison sentence stems from a 2023 incident in which he led police on a high-speed chase through North Miami. After being apprehended, the authorities searched the car and found a firearm with a switch.
SpotemGottem gained notoriety after his 2020 breakout single Beat Box peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song gained notoriety largely due to the viral “Junebug Challenge” on TikTok.
According to the post, SpotemGot is set to be released in January 2027. However, other reports have claimed that he is not set to be released until March of next year. Stay tuned for more updates.
