Drake continues to keep fans guessing with another cryptic tease about his upcoming Iceman album.
The Toronto megastar hit Instagram Tuesday with a carousel captioned, “What I Was Doing When You Thought I Was Crying.” The slide set included a bold “Warning Iceman” graphic and merch stamped with messages like “They Doubted Me” and “Talk Is Cheap,” fueling speculation about what’s coming next.
The post arrives as anticipation builds around the project. Drake has been rolling out Iceman since last summer but has since only dropped two singles believed to be tied to the project, “Which One” and “What Did I Miss?” — which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The album will mark his return to solo mode following his headline-grabbing 2024 battle with Kendrick Lamar. It also stands as his first solo LP since 2023’s For All the Dogs.
While no official release date has been announced, Drake recently addressed the wait during a livestream with comedian BenDaDon.
“I know y’all are waiting on it. I’m about to finish that sh*t up, and we’ll get to it. There’s plenty to talk about and we’ll talk about it,” he said.
He added, “Much love — ICEMAN coming soon. Y’all boys better duck, get out the way.”
