During a recent appearance on Way Up with Angela Yee, boxing star Claressa Shields vowed to bring legal action against the Power creator amid their ongoing beef.
Shields Reveals She Sent Cease & Desist to 50 Cent
Amid his beef with Shields’ rapper boyfriend, Papoose, 50 took to social media and leaked alleged text messages between Shields and a Miami-based artist named Maserati Bud. 50 claimed that she was romantically involved with him. However, Shields has categorically denied those claims. So, she sent 50 a cease and desist regarding the post.
“50 Cent has been sent paperwork for even saying and insinuating that I slept with this guy, I was romantic with this guy, I was sexually involved with this guy. It’s a lie,” she said.

50’s posts were in response to Papoose’s new diss track Agent Provocateur. A song that aims at the G-Unit founder. Shields went on to say that she wishes that Fif had kept things hip-hop.
“I just wish 50 Cent had gotten in the booth,” she added. “I thought he was a rapper. What is 50 Cent? Is he a rapper? Is he a producer? An actor? What is he?”
She also says that his actions were especially disappointing. She tried to steer clear of the issues between him and Papoose. But 50 was the one who dragged her into the middle of their drama.
“I didn’t drag myself into this rap beef. It started on New Year’s when 50 made a post with Pap and me in it. Which was disrespectful,” she added. “I tried to steer away from it because I’m locked in for the fight. I don’t care what 50 Cent is talking about or why he’s trolling. Because I have done nothing to him.”
At the time of writing, 50 has not responded to the comments made by Shields.
