The New York Knicks were in town to take on the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday (March 26). So, of course, Charlotte native DaBaby was in attendance for the star-studded matchup.
The Hornets remained in control throughout the matchup. Maintaining a double-digit lead for most of the contest. And the rapper, who was seated in the front row, was letting Knicks fans hear about it.
DaBaby Has Viral Exchange With Fans At Hornets Game
In a video posted to his social media on Friday (March 27), DaBaby shows himself cutting up at the game. In the video, DaBaby is holding Knicks jerseys in one hand and a belt in the other. Insinuating that the Charlotte Hornets were putting “belt to a**” on the Knicks.
Some of the fans seated in the area took exception to the rapper’s behavior. And demanded that he sit down because he was blocking their view of the game that was still going on. However, he was unwilling to oblige.
“Take this a** whooping like a man. ” Welcome to Charlotte,” he exclaims in the video, and says that “he would be mad too” if it were the Hornets who were on the losing end.
The camera then pans to fans who are seated further behind him, antagonizing him. And he responds by telling them to “shut up.”
A security guard assigned to the area appears to try to diffuse the situation, to which DaBaby responds, “f**k that n***a OG! I’m ready to get put out!”
“B***h ass n***a tryna tell it. N***a, I do what I want to do in this b***h. Welcome to Charlotte, f**k is you talking about n***a? This is my s**t,” he says later in the video.
