TLC’s Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas is clearing the air after records showed donations tied to Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign.
According to FEC filings, contributions linked to Chilli totaled over $1,000 across GOP fundraising platforms. But the singer quickly addressed the backlash on Instagram, saying the donations were a mistake.
“I WANT TO BE CLEAR: I am not MAGA,” she wrote, claiming she believed she was supporting causes related to human trafficking and veterans. “I did not read the fine print.”
Chilli also denied intentionally sharing a conspiracy post about Michelle Obama, saying it was an accidental repost.
“I have the utmost respect and admiration for Michelle Obama… I would never do anything disrespectful,” she said, adding she’s “not very computer savvy.”
The clarification comes as old comments from a 2017 interview—where she said “all lives matter”—have also resurfaced online.
