J. Prince Jr. Hits Back at Finesse2Tymes Amid Contract Dispute

J. Prince Jr. is fed up with Finesse2Tymes throwing dirt on his name. And he recently took to social media to hit back at the Backend creator.

In a recent social media post, the Mob Ties founder targeted Finesse2Tymes over his appearance.

“Not a n***a that got his titties done and a tummy tuck talking about some hair. I think you need to go back, Cuh. That bad b***h energy doesn’t work,” he wrote in the post.

However, it did not take long for Finesse2Tymes to shoot back with some jabs of his own.

“Shouldn’t have let that hustle cartel looking a** b***h hold my plaque at that studio. Now stop playing with me,” he wrote in a recent Instagram story.

In another post, he added: “N****s sat back and watched me be depressed. Watched me cry, watched me ask for help, and still didn’t help. Man f**k that n***a. He and whoever else think that s**t real.”

Why is Finesse at Odds With J. Prince Jr?

Finesse2Tymes has been adding odds with J. Prince Jr. since 2025. He has been demanding to be released from his contract with Mob Ties. The label that J. Prince Jr. founded in 2017. Finesse2Tymes referred to his Mob Ties deal as the “worst deal” he ever signed. He also questioned why other artists on the label who have “no hits” are getting more promotion than he is. Despite having previous success with hit records like Backend.

“Mob Ties the worst deal I ever signed,” he said in a clip shared by Akademiks. “I should’ve just gone to Atlantic by myself. Why are they m*****f****ers that ain’t got no hits, ain’t accomplished nothing, how the f*ck are they getting in these rooms I ain’t getting in. I got gold plaques and sh*t… All this talent is just going to waste.”

He also goes on to compare his recording contract to “slavery.”

“At this point, this is slavery. Let me out. Let me go. I don’t wanna do the album no more,” he concluded.
