Future’s Ex-Wants Him Thrown in Jail Over Court Order
According to a Tuesday (March 31) report from TMZ, Mealy wants the March Madness rapper thrown in prison.
The basis of her demand is a 2023 court order where the rapper was supposed to take out a $500K life insurance policy, where she would be named the trustee for their son, Prince. However, according to the outlet, Brittni is claiming that Future has been non-compliant with the court order. He wants him to be thrown in prison as a result.
The news led to a lot of mixed reactions from users on social media.
“Of course you would wanna insure ya kids and family if you can afford it. But she tryna get the homie bagged for not doing it,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Oh, that b***h nasty. Not only did you trap that nigga not caring about him, but you tryin’ to hit on lick on the kid?” a second user chimed in.
“What does she expect them to charge him with…not doing what she wants?” a third user asked.
In 2023, a judge ordered Future’s child payment support for Prince to be increased from $3k a month to $5K a month.
At the time of writing, the rap star had not responded to the report.
