Rick Ross Weighs in on Pooh Shiesty, Gucci Mane Drama
In a video recently posted to his social media account, Rick Ross says that he isn’t a fan of the situation from “either side” of the beef. But he sent a particular message to Pooh Shiesty. And suggested that the rapper “educate” himself about how to properly conduct business.
“I don’t like it for either side. Guwop definitely didn’t deserve that, and I don’t want to see this for the lil homie Pooh Shiesty,” Ross says in the clip. “This is when n***s gotta educate themselves and understand that in business you gotta negotiate my n***a.”
The biggest boss, Rick Ross, speaks on the robbery that happened to Gucci Mane by his artist Pooh Shiesty. He says if you signed a deal for a 100k and it’s 10 million out there, renegotiate your deal. It’s money out there for everybody, but you can’t use the streets in business. pic.twitter.com/e3WBvTAZ5o

Pooh Shiesty was arrested earlier this month in connection with an armed robbery. Federal agents allege that Shiesty rounded up nine men, including rap star Big 30 and even his own father. And ambushed Gucci Mane at gunpoint at a Dallas recording studio. Coercing him into signing paperwork to release Shiesty from his deal with Gucci’s 1017 Brick Squad label.
Ross says that instead of putting Gucci under duress, he should have negotiated with him and come to an agreement to release him from his deal.
“If you were signed for $100k and you got $10m on the table, it’s time to negotiate. This is how we do this: everybody wins,” Ross added. “You can’t muscle your way out of no s**t in this business. It doesn’t go that way. And I’m not just talking about on the people side, I’m talking about on the other side. The blitz is gonna come, you can’t run from it, homie.”
If convicted, Pooh Shiesty could face a minimum of five years in prison.
