Tekashi 6ix9ine Gets Released From Prison
Tekashi picked up right back up where he left off on social media.
“Fresh OUT THE FEDS $2,200,000 on the neck 🌈🥶 GOD IS THE GREATEST. MY LORD AND SAVIOR,” he captioned an Instagram post on Friday.
The rap star had been granted probation for turning state’s evidence in the 2019 Treyway RICO trial. However, the judge deemed 6ix9ine a “dumpster fire” who should not be exempt from consequences. Despite previously helping the government.
As a result, the rap star was ordered to spend 90 days in prison after several infractions that went against the terms of his probation.
The cited violations included the rap star being arrested for drug possession in February 2025, after authorities found cocaine and MDMA inside his Palm Beach residence.
However, despite the court’s findings, the rap star claims that the real reason he was ordered to prison was that he had a “close friend” turn on him.
“I had a close friend/worker, and we fell out,” 6ix9ine said during a January 2026 stream with Adin Ross. “What he ended up doing was meet with the feds and say I had drugs and guns in the house. They found an illegal gun and three ecstasy pills. As I said, I’m on probation, so I give full consent to search my house, because I know there’s nothing there. After that was the mall situation… Basically, I was at the mall, and I was shopping with my girlfriend, my stepson, and some guy was like, ‘If you weren’t with your family, I’d kill you, you f******g rat.’ When we beat him up, he called the cops and made a report.”
