More details are being released about Pooh Shiesty’s recent arrest. And things are not looking too good for the rap star.

Pooh Shiesty Faces Life in Prison Over Alleged Robbery

According to a release from the Northern District of Texas’ U.S. Attorney’s Office, the Back in Blood creator and his co-conspirators could be looking at spending the rest of their lives in prison.

Shiesty’s arrest stems from a January 2026 armed robbery in Dallas, Texas. The feds allege that Shiesty organized a group of nine men to confront rap star Gucci Mane. Gucci believed that he was having a business meeting with Pooh. However, when he arrived at Gucci’s studio in Dallas, Shiesty and his co-conspirators held the rapper at gunpoint and forced him to sign paperwork releasing the FDO creator from his record deal with his label 1017 Brick Squad.

The other assailants held other people in the studio at gunpoint and stripped them of luxury items such as Rolex watches, jewelry, and cash.

In the release, United States Attorney Ryan Raybould promised that the defendants would be “vigorously” prosecuted for their crimes.

“Instead of discussing business civilly, the defendants resorted to violence and intimidation to achieve their purported business objectives,” Raybould said. “For anyone contemplating using violence and intimidation as a business practice, I’m here to tell you that it will be vigorously investigated and prosecuted in the Northern District of Texas.

Feds Collected Mountain of Evidence in Discovery

It also doesn’t help that the rapper and his co-conspirators left a mountain of evidence behind.

Per the release, the findings include:

Electronic monitoring data placing Williams Jr. at the offense location in violation of his home detention conditions;

Cell phone records and license plate reader data corroborating the coordinated travel of multiple defendants from Memphis to Dallas;

Rental car records confirming Williams Sr. rented a vehicle used by the group;

Surveillance footage from the offense location, a nearby office supply store, and a hotel where several defendants stayed following the offense;

Latent fingerprints recovered from the crime scene matched two defendants.

Greyhound Bus records confirming the travel of multiple defendants from Dallas to Memphis the day after the offense.
