Hot 97’s 2017 Summer Jam Festival Stage performers have been announced. Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning with Laura Stylez & Rosenberg Morning Show unveiled this year’s Festival Stage lineup on the morning of April 24th. This year we are seeing more New York artist on the Festival Stage than we have seen in some time. Although a highly critical pick from the radio station in Lil Yachty. Lil Yachty took to Hot 97 to spit the lackluster freestyle that started the whole “Anti-Yachty Movement”. Yachty’s appearance on Hot 97 arguably could be credited for creating the “Mumble Rap” term. Despite all that, Yachty will be a performer on the storied Summer Jam Stage. The same stage Jay Z famously brought out Michael Jackson and debuted one of Hip-Hop’s most memorable diss records in “Takeover”.
Other than Yachty, D.R.A.M will be taking the stage. But New York will be in the building with Dave East, Young M.A, Casanova, Phresher, A Boogie, & Don Q.
