Drake officially unveiled the release date for his forthcoming album, Iceman. So you know that DJ Akademiks has something special planned for that release date.
Akademiks Set to Host Liveshow on Drake’s Release Date
Shortly after Drake unveiled that his latest studio album would be released on May 15, Akademiks revealed that he would be hosting a live show on the same day. To celebrate his birthday, which is May 17. The event will also likely serve as a listening party for Drizzy’s new project.
The show is set to take place at Gramercy Theater in New York City. Tickets are available now via Ticketmaster. You can get one on the low end for $35 or max out on the $100 tickets.

Of course, fans on social media had a lot to say about the media personality’s announcement.
“Why is the age restriction 16+?? And what parents are bringing their kids to this??? Lmao,” one user asked on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“What sad f******g loser is buying a ticket to this fat f***s birthday party?” a second user chimed in.
“May 15? Who does he think he is? We all gonna be bumping new drake tubby,” a third user remarked.
So far, there have not been any confirmed features or tracklist for Iceman. But that hasn’t stopped the anticipation from building for his next album. It will be interesting to see if Drizzy has another banger on tap for his day one fans.
