Drake’s rollout for his ninth studio album, Iceman, concluded on Thursday Night (May 14), with Iceman Episode 4. And as the case has been with most of Drizzy’s rollout, Episode 4 included several surprises.
Fans React to Future Being Featured Drake’s on Iceman
One of those surprises was rap star Future being included in the Iceman episode four. As the two collaborated on a new song called Ran to Atlanta. And an apparent nod to Kendrick Lamar’s lyrics in Not Like Us. He calls out Drizzy for using Atlanta artists every time he needs to churn out a hit.
It was a major surprise. Especially because many view Future as the catalyst for the beef with Kendrick Lamar and Drake.
Of course, fans exploded with reactions on social media once Future was revealed as one of the featured artists.
“What’s up with all this fake sh**. Fake a** n***as both of them,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“I’m still trying to understand this… Future and Metroboom did 2 albums to diss Drizzy in ’24, that’s even when the beef between K.Dot and Drizzy started,” a second user chimed in.
“Drake putting future on the album ruined the whole thing, what the f**k are we doing here?” a third user remarked.

Future and Drake’s issues took the main stage after Pluto and Metro Boomin dropped their 2024 project, We Don’t Trust You. In one of the songs, also named We Don’t Trust You Future accuses him of “sneak dissing” and “pillow talking.” Many perceived Future to be talking about Drake. In addition, this was also the same project where Kendrick Lamar took his first shot at Drake on Like That, which ignited their beef.
