Ray J had a rough Memorial Day Weekend. The Raycon boss put on a lackluster performance in his boxing match with YouTuber Supa Hot Fire, leading to him getting one punch ko’d seemingly by accident. Now, it appears things have gotten worse for Ray J.
What Is Going On With Ray J?
TMZ scrounged to get photos, obtaining some concerning shots from one of his reps. In the photos, Ray J is shown sleeping, with multiple monitors hooked up to him. The report also states he immediately went to the hospital after the fight to get checked for a concussion and heart issues. Prior to the fight, he was battling pneumonia at the start of the year.
This wouldn’t be the first time Ray J had major health issues. At the top of the year, he told fans that his heart was only operating at 25% due to substance abuse. He grimly claimed doctors only gave him another year to live. So, when it was announced he’d participate in freakshow celebrity MMA, most fans were in disbelief.
His status at this time is unclear and there’s no update on if he’s still hospitalized.

What Controversy Did The Fight Cause?
During the post fight interview, Ray J appeared to hint that the fights at Brand Risk, which were overseen by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, may not be legit.
““Yo, I thought we had a plan!” Ray J said to Supa Hot Fire. “Like a m*******. For real my n****? That’s janky as f***. I don’t wanna say too much because I don’t wanna get anybody in trouble but damn, my n****. N****, we took an L tonight. I gotta talk to this n**** about this. How much money we lost!”
The commission issues hefty penalties if it’s determined a fight could have been fixed.
