Cam’Ron recently appeared on the Do You podcast. And as usual, the rapper was asked about a reunion with The Diplomats — the iconic rap group that Killa rose to superstardom with in the early 2000s.
Cam’ron Says He Won’t Participate in Potential Dipset Reunion
Even though Cam’Ron spearheaded the rap group, he notes that he has no interest in being part of any potential reunion. But he also feels that a reunion could still happen without him.
“For me, let me just be Frank: it could [happen] without me,” he said, as caught by The Hip Hop Wolf on Instagram. “No, I’m saying, I’ve seen them do Dipset reunion shows without me. I’m just telling you. It’s mad members of Dipset. I’m just saying I wouldn’t be there.”
Over the years, several member of the group have expressed their frustrations with Cam. Most recently, Jim Jones. Killa and Jim have had several heated exchanges on social media since 2025. Even though they have found a way to settle their differences in the past, Cam insists that it’s different this time around.
During a recent appearance on Memphis Bleek’s Roc Solid podcast, he insisted that their relationship has reached a point of no return.
“The reunions and arguments and fighting, it’s been 15 years. The run was only seven years. We have had 15 years of disputes longer than the run,” Cam’ron said.
“I’m never going to say never. But at the end of the day, the dispute is 15 years old, and the run was seven years old. I don’t know if it can ever go right, you know? He got records dissing me earlier this year. I don’t really pay it any mind; people send it to me. But he put a song out called ‘Frienemies’ in [2009]. 17 years of diss records towards me. I don’t give a f**k.”
