Lord Jamar Says He’s ‘Not Impressed’ With Jay-Z’s Freestyle
In his freestyle at the Roots Picnic, Hov appeared to have rebuttals for several of his critics. Including Nicki Minaj, Dame Dash, Drake, and Tory Lanez. And because of the controversy, the freestyle went viral. Many fans are impressed by Hov still having one of the best pens in the game. But not everyone is singing Jay-Z’s praises following his performance, such as Lord Jamar.
During a recent appearance on Vlad TV, Lord Jamar explained to DJ Vlad why Hov’s performance at the Roots Picnic left him feeling unfulfilled.

“Also, I’m like what kind of sorcery have you done where you f*ckin’ took your dreads out, and you got this big ass f******g blowout and s**t,” he added. “Maybe that’s the epitome of having bread where you could just pay somebody to just meticulously take out your dreads, you know, one by one.”
Lord Jamar says Jay-Z’s freestyle was not impressive and questions what kind of sorcery Jay-Z has done to transition his dreads/Wicks to now having a big blow out 😭
