Cardi B Blames Trump’s ‘Dark Energy’ For Knicks Loss
The Bodak Yellow creator explained the reason behind her theory in a live session on Monday (June 9). Cardi, who performed at halftime of the event, starts the video off by saying she had a “blast” at the game.
One of the fans in the comments appears to say that Trump’s attendance at the game was “bad luck” for the Knicks. To which Cardi responds:
“It probably was. But it is what it is. You can’t stop the f*****g president from going to the game. But it felt a little dark in there, but it’s okay,” she said in a clip caught by BardisMedia on X.
She also details her experience going through security measures with the President’s Secret Service detail.
“They were like in front of my car. They were making us do mad circles and everything. I wasn’t even going to complain because I kind of get it, but it was like wow.”
She also adds, “It felt kind of dark. It felt like the principal was there and everybody had to be on their best behavior.”

After winning 13 games in a row, the Knicks fell to the Spurs in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. On the bright side, they still hold a 2-1 lead in the series. And have the opportunity to get back on track in Game 4 on Wednesday (June 10). Trump is not expected to be in attendance for the next game.
