Rap artist Plies has been critical of the Donald Trump Administration in the past. But the comments made by UFC fighter Josh Hokit about Michelle Obama during UFC 250 appear to have been his tipping point.
Plies Blasts Trump Administration Over Michelle Obama Disrespect
In a post made to his social media account on Monday (June 15), the rapper says that the White House platforming someone like Hokit, who would even make those comments, is just further evidence that the Trump Administration “ain’t s**t.”

The White House played host to UFC Freedom 250. A combat sports event that took place on the South Lawn as part of a celebration for the 250th anniversary of America’s founding. The event did not come without controversy. After UFC fighter Josh Hokit defeated Derrick Lewis in their matchup on Sunday night (June 14), he made some disparaging remarks about former First Lady Michelle Obama.
“Hey, shout out to Trump for having the balls to put some sh*t like this on! And if I’m going to say anything, there’s only one person more incredible than the Incredible Hulk, and that’s my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And lastly, Michelle Obama is a MAN!! Am I right, America?!,” he said in a clip caught by Overton_News on X.

To make matters even worse, UFC host Joe Rogan cracked a huge smile, and many of the audience members cheered on Hokit’s comments. UFC has also attempted to scrub the clip off of social media as many of the posts of the interaction have vanished.
