Bad Boy Records founder Sean “Diddy” Combs is set to be released earlier than expected. So of course, his longtime nemesis, 50 Cent, had something to say about it.
50 Cent Reacts to Diddy’s Reduced Prison Sentence
In a post to his social media account on Tuesday (June 16), he said: “Diddy coming home soon, he’s short now, you know he’s gonna have the craziest party ever! 🎈LOL, who’s going? You’re going!”
Of course, 50’s comments led to an outpouring of reactions on social media.
“50 gotta be the official welcome home committee at this point,” one user wrote in the comments section of the Instagram post.
“Many men get convicted wrongly and do time for a crime they never committed. Then you have men who get reduced sentences when they should be caged for life,” a second user chimed in.
“Johnson & Johnson 📈 Baby Oil Stocks just went up,” a third user remarked.
The music mogul’s sentence was reduced by roughly two months. He was slated to be released on April 25, 2028. However, according to a Tuesday (June 16) report from USA Today, that date has now been moved up to February 23, 2028. However, in total, his sentence has been reduced by four months as he was initially slated to be released in June of that same year.
50 and Diddy have been odds for years. But despite his misfortune, 50 has continued his onslaught on the record producer. In 2025, he released a Netflix documentary, Sean Combs: The Reckoning. A film that details his years of alleged crimes leading up to his 2024 arrest.
Despite his continuous attacks, Combs has not publicly responded to 50.
