N.O.R.E. has reinvented himself. The former rapper turned podcaster has been entertaining fans, and getting personal stories from celebrities through alcohol on his hit show Drink Champs, for over a decade. However, in an exclusive interview with Vice, N.O.R.E teased that the show may end sooner than people think.
What Did N.O.R.E. Say?
While talking to reporter Caleb Catlin, N.O.R.E. spoke on the changing guard in Hip Hop and the over saturation of the podcast scene.
“Everyone thinks it’s easy, and they think they have a personality because their girlfriend and friends laugh at their jokes,” N.O.R.E said. “It doesn’t mean you’re funny or entertaining or that you can hold down an hour. But they have to learn that. I don’t wanna knock anybody trying to do it, but I also wanna give perspective. Holding down content is a lot harder than you think it is.”
He then talked about the future of Drink Champs.
“Truth be told, right now, we got another three years of this,” N.O.R.E. said. “Then it’s gonna transition to something else. I don’t know what it is right now, and I know a lotta people look at me because I told people Pharrell and the Neptunes and Swizz Beatz was gonna be the s***.”
i spoke with hip-hop's Mike Francesa N.O.R.E about 10 years of Drink Champs, the future of podcasting, new music, giving our legends their flowers, and of course, all things New York Knicks. https://t.co/SYaZXk5ses

What Else Does He Have Going On?
Later in the interview, N.O.R.E. expressed interest in a move to radio, opening the door for more topics not just Hip Hop.
He also teased a new project coming soon. The project, his first in 8 years, doesn’t have official features. However, he says he has songs with Dr. Dre, Capone, and a collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign and Vybz Kartel in the vault.
