Jay-Z’s three-night concert run at Yankee Stadium this past weekend has turned the rap industry on its head. The rap star’s three sold-out performances still have people buzzing. Including Ye, formerly known as Kanye West.

Kanye West Shows Love to Jay-Z’s Yankee Stadium Shows

The art director for the concert series, Gabriel Moses, recently shared some exclusive footage from the three concerts. The footage caught the attention of Ye, who surprisingly showed love for the concert. And commented three fire emojis under Moses’ post.

Check out the exchange below as caught by Kurrco on X.

Ye’s reaction quickly went viral, which led to an outpouring of reactions from fans on social media.

“People need to accept Jaÿ-Z and Ye may never make music or share a stage again,” one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Called his kids r*traded but now trying to get back in his good graces lol, so shameless,” a second user added.

“When Ye drops fire emojis, it’s basically a stamp of approval from the universe,” a third user chimed in.

During the three shows, Jay-Z performed several of the songs that he and West collaborated on. Such as N****s in Paris, So Appalled, and No Church in The Wild. But unfortunately, Ye did not join Jay-Z on stage. And the harsh reality is that it may never happen.

Ye’s Beef With Jay-Z Explained

In 2025, Kanye went on several social media tirades. And in one of his rants, Ye targeted Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and their children. Specifically, their twins Sir and Rumi, whom he referred to as “retarded.”

However, following a myriad of backlash, Ye also said that he “felt bad” about his comments. He also said he made the comments because he was upset with Jay-Z and Beyoncé for isolating themselves from him in recent years.

“I LOVE JAY Z, AND I DO FEEL BAD,” he explained (Via HotNewHipHop). “I ALWAYS FELT LIKE THE BLACK SHEEP. LIKE I WANTED FAMILY IN THIS MUSIC SH*T. I’D RUN ON STAGES THINKING I WAS DOING THE RIGHT THING  AND WOULD ALWAYS BE A SLIGHT. HOV NOT COMING TO MY FIRST WEDDING, HIM PUTTING KENDRICK ON THE SUPERBOWL OVER ME OR EVEN US NEVER BEING INVITED TO SH*T, TAKING JABS ABOUT MY RED HAT ON DONDA. I FELT LIKE BOTH HE AND HIS WIFE COULD HAVE HELPED ME HAVE MORE LEVERAGE WITH MY KIDS. THEY COULD HAVE USED THEIR CULTURAL POSITION TO NOT JUST WATCH THE KARDASHIANS RUN ME OVER. SH*T HURTS SO F*CK BOTH OF THEM CAUSE WHEN I NEEDED THEM IT WAS F*CK ME.”
