Drake has made a successful comeback with Iceman, but the Oklahoma City Thunder failed in their bid to top the San Antonio Spurs. Now, OKC’s star guard, and two-time MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is getting birthday present from Drake that may cheer him up.
What Did Drake Do?
At SGA’s 28th birthday party, Drake took hold of MC duties, helping with the music, and keeping the flow of the party. Then, he dropped his own flow in a personal freestyle.
“To everybody here, to many more nights. To the ones that loved, to the ones that hated, and to the ones that are here to celebrate the greatest. Too many nights, we’ve had too much fun. Two on the jersey, but we’re here for the one,” he rapped.
SGA seemed to appreciate the sentiment, showing Drake love.
The bromance between SGA and Drake dates back a few years now, where the Canadian natives became fast friends, with Drake sitting courtside at several OKC games.
The, SGA gifted Drake a signed jersey inscribed, “To the boy: Shout out to the flashiest, the splashiest, the craftiest…my fly brother, the GOAT…appreciate you 4L.”
That friendship blossomed further, when Drake replaced a past tattoo dedicated to LeBron James with an SGA jersey tattoo.

What Else Has Drizzy Been Up To?
Mostly partying and liking petty sentiments on Instagram, AKA, the same thing he does every night.
On the We Love Hip Hop podcast, the hosts discussed the fallout of the Kendrick Lamar and Drake feud. One host, went as far as to say that Kendrick was just one of Jay-Z’s “pawns” and that he was never the “main guy.” Drake seemed to agree with the assertion, liking the clip on Instagram.
He also levied shots at JAY-Z on his latest album, Iceman.
Drake targets several individuals on his new project. One of the most notable people he claps at is Roc Nation founder Jay-Z.
First, he disses him on “JANICE STFU: “You boys got big on my name, that’s big enough…we know how you OGs rocking already my n**** the jig is up.”
Then, he references the dinner with JAY-Z meme on “Whisper My Name.” “I’ll take $500K, not the dinner, I never could learn s*** from none of y’all.”
JAY-Z clapped back at Drake during his Roots Picnic freestyle.
“The jig is up, n**** I’m up 10, wrong chart champ you gotta look up again, n****s looked up to Hov, I never looked up to them,” Jay-Z raps.
