Travis Scott is back in album mode! And as he prepares to drop his next project, La Flame is vowing to keep his fans in mind.
Travis Scott Goes Into Detail About Upcoming Project
During a recent sit-down with Variety, Travis said that his stadium shows are going to heavily influence his next album. The rap star expressed that he wants to make music that can reach the fans who are seated all the way in the back of the bowl in the same manner that it reaches the fans who are seated in the front row.
“I need to double down on trying to make something that can reach the person that’s all the way back in the bowl, so how do I reach them like the person that’s right next to me? So that’s what I’m on — trying to elevate the show to a more theater aspect,” he said as caught by Kurrco on X. “Stay tuned on how that’s going to happen. ‘Utopia’ was supposed to be a play. I want to try to bring back true experiences before they try to take them all down and make everything digital.”
As for the influence for his next project? Scott says that he is drawing inspiration from Rock & Roll icons such as Parliament and Van Haling. As well as more modern artists like Don Toliver and Rafael Saadiq.
“I’m here to conquer who I am as an artist. In these side quests — these cool things I like to do — I never lose sight of the main goal,” he continued. “I’m still trying to do every stadium in the United States and the world. I’m working on an album right now, and that’s f******g amazing. And I’m constantly pushing myself to push the sonics to try to make something that I haven’t made before.”
