While speaking with Angie Martinez, Remy Ma broke down why someone should wife her up.
“First of all, I watch football. I watch basketball. I watch boxing. I watch baseball. And not [just] watch it. I know the coach. I know the team. I know who’s getting traded. I know when it’s the draft,” Remy Ma said. “I like love it, too. So, it works perfectly. And then I know how to cook. I know how to’ cook well like to the point that when I travel–if I’m going to LA and my friends know I’m coming, they’re like, ‘B**** bring a seasoning kit. You’re cooking when you get here.'”
She then spoke on her baking skills, citing apple pie as a specialty, before sharing some more rare qualities.
“Oh, you sell drugs? Great. I got you. I know how much this and how much you need to weigh,” she continued. “I might even have a mean connect for you. I got you. Oh, you’re into guns? What do you know? I love that.”
Remy Ma originally had a longtime relationship with fellow rapper Papoose, who they share a 7-year-old daughter with. She also has a 25-year-old son from an old flame. After splitting with Papoose, she’s been dissing his new girlfriend dominant pro boxer Claressa Shields recently.
Claressa Shields Is Unbothered
After Remy Ma dissed Shields on her recent song “WYFL,” leading to Shields slight dissing Remy back on “Run Yo Mouth,” she was asked about the beef on the Ariel Helwani show after freestyling for the MMA journalist. Her response was very nonchalant.
“I don’t know many of her songs so I can’t say much,” Shields said.
It’s unknown if Helwani knew their beef already, or if he was blindly ignorant to their history, but either way, it made for an awkward close to the interview.
