If you don’t have plans in Atlanta tonight, now you do. Tyler, The Creator is throwing a dance or go home party for the extremely affordable price of $5. The rapper took to social media to announce his endeavor.

“Don’t come if you aren’t going to dance,” Tyler posted.

Currently tickets are sold out, but there may be some available closer to start time.

This move makes good on a promise he made to a fan last year while he threw other dance parties. To celebrate his album Don’t Tap The Glass, he threw dance parties in LA and NYC, leading fans to ask if he’d come to their cities.

“You have my word, i will throw an Atlanta dance party like i dod on la and ny for dont tap the glass,” Tyler posted.

The party is going down at the 1,500 capacity Enspire Mercantile venue.

Will Tyler Come Anywhere Else?

Fans have asked Tyler about doing these parties in Washington DC, Chicago, Seattle, Memphis, Boston, and other places. However, he’s yet to comment if he’ll extend to other cities.

Maybe he’ll announce more at Camp Flog Gnaw later this year.

One thing’s for sure though: he won’t release a Jazz album.

Instagram page Medicineboxx posited a theory of Tyler going in a new direction, after changing his Instagram bio.

“Tyler changed his instagram bio to “satchmo, sag harbor” and of course tyler fans are already reading into it,” Medicineboxx posted. “Satchmo is the nickname of louis armstrong… one of the most foundational figures in jazz history. And sag harbor is a village in the hamptons that’s been a historic sanctuary for black families since the late 1940s. It’s a place where black doctors, lawyers, and creatives built something private and theirs during an era when most of the country wasn’t available to them.

Medicineboxx then said people are thinking a “jazz 40s-50s vibe” for Tyler may come next. However, Tyler himself hopped in the comments and put any speculation to bed.

“Not at all lol and do not get stuck on this idea please,” Tyler commented.
