Hip-Hop and art are one. Graffiti writing is one of the elements. Arguably the graffiti writing and tagging came well before the emcee. And even when the emcee came along and New York Mayor Koch came down hard on graffiti writing for vandalism art still played a big role in Hip-Hop. Iconic album cover, iconic logos for both record labels and musical acts, etc. Nanlib has taken on her love for Hip-Hop and love for art and put the two together to make some creative pieces that are rooted in Hip-Hop culture.
