Tom Hardy is showing off another side of his creative resume, stepping behind the mic alongside CZARFACE and Method Man on the new track “Mad Technology.”
The song appears on Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer, a 15-track collaborative album featuring Hardy rapping under the name Frankie Pulitzer alongside CZARFACE members Inspectah Deck, 7L and Esoteric. On “Mad Technology,” Method Man joins the group while Hardy closes out the track with the final verse.
While Hardy is best known for roles like Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, Eddie Brock in the Venom films and Max Rockatansky in Mad Max: Fury Road, his history with hip-hop goes back decades. Hardy has previously said he began rapping around the age of 14 or 15, and an 18-song project he recorded in 1999 later surfaced online in 2018. At the time, Hardy reportedly went by Tommy No. 1, while his longtime friend Ed Tracy handled production as Eddie Too Tall.
Hardy’s connection to CZARFACE has also been building for years. He previously appeared on material connected to Venom: Let There Be Carnage in 2021, contributed to Czarmageddon! in 2022 and later linked with Method Man on “Knull & Void” for Venom: The Last Dance in 2024.
Now, that relationship has expanded into a full-length project, with Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer also featuring appearances from Busta Rhymes, El-P, Kendra Morris and Method Man.
For fans who only knew Hardy from the big screen, hearing him trade bars with members of the Wu-Tang orbit may be one of the more unexpected hip-hop moments of 2026.
