Rod Wave and NBA YoungBoy are two of the most dynamic artists of our time. Now, it looks like they may be combining forces.
While speaking to someone on X, Rod Wave indicated that a world tour could be in order.
“I told yb we going stadium,” Wave responded to the fan who asked about a tour.
It would be easy for the duo to fill stadiums as both have reached arena level with their tours. YoungBoy especially put together one of the biggest tours in Hip Hop this decade with MASA. The tour was commemorated by a concert film that had fans going crazy.
While the prospect of the tour would excite many fans, both artists may face logistics issues.
In a report by XXL, prosecutors reportedly sent 90GB and 1,900 pages of evidence against Rod Wave regarding a 2025 incident at his home that went awry.
The details have been murky, but prosecutors allege Rod and an associate got into a verbal argument that resulted in the rapper firing several shots outside his Milton, Georgia home, striking multiple vehicles.
However, his defense say that the incident occurred following a burglary and Rod was a victim who didn’t do anything wrong. He has plead not guilty.
For YoungBoy’s part, his rap sheet is well documented and he currently resides in South Korea.
Still, YoungBoy indicated in an interview with Funny Marco that he would do one more tour before retiring.
