An R&B king is in big trouble. Jacquees, considered as one of the highest level R&B acts of the past decade, was arrested this weekend for alleged battery and DUI.
As of Sunday evening, he has not posted bond and is being held at Broward County Jail.
Details are sparse, but according to WSVN News, a local station in South Florida, claims Jacquees was found passed out behind the wheel of his car. When he couldn’t be woken immediately, first responders and EMTs came on the scene, which he reportedly woke up and became combative, leading to his arrest.

This isn’t the first time the singer has faced issues with the law.
He was arrested twice in 2018, once during a traffic stop in Miami and the other for speeding in Atlanta.
In 2023, he was accused of choking and biting a woman near a Georgia mall. He was charged with simple battery and obstruction before settling on bond.
