During the Young Money years, Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj and others ruled Hip Hop. Today, Drake stands as one of the biggest active names still thriving.

Wayne is still doing well, considered a legend of the game, but lately, he’s been more interested in podcasting than rapping.
This week, while on his show with Craig Carton, Joint Venture, Weezy revealed he’s got plenty in the vault, especially with Drake.
“We have a whole bunch of unreleased material. I go through stuff from 2014 and 2015, like… really unheard stuff,” Wayne said. “I edit stuff up and just send it to his phone so he can hear the new versions of it and get him going.”
Wayne also said that Drake has always responded positively when asked about releasing the material.
At one point, Lil Wayne and Drake had a hit streak that could rival OutKast. From 2008 to 2013, their collabs served as some of the biggest songs in music. Soon after, Wayne would hit a lul period and Drake would become a superstar, stemming from his dominant 2016.
It’s actually been over five years since Wayne and Drake connected, with the duo linking on Drake’s “You Only Live Twice,” off Certified Lover Boy. They also linked with Nicki Minaj for her track “Seeing Green.”
