Since becoming a billionaire, Rihanna has rarely contributed music. Her Fenty empire has made it so there’s really no reason to ever get back in the studio.

This means, for now, she hasn’t made a full album in over a decade. But that last album couldn’t have worked out better, as it happened to be 2016’s Anti, which has gone down as a modern classic and the peak of her artistry.
Since then, rumors have swirled about Rihanna’s follow up R9, which has suffered leaks, been changed several times, and become one of the most mythologized unreleased albums in music.
It’s also important to note, since becoming romantically involved with ASAP Rocky, the couple have had three children.
Still, she has maintained that one day, she’ll release music again. ASAP Rocky himself told Jason Lee in an interview that she was currently in the studio.
Rihanna added more gas to those rumors during a live stream of a Fenty Beauty presentation, someone asked her how many songs she had in the vault.
Instead of brushing it off, Rihanna got playful with her answer.
“If there are 10 products [in the Gloss Bomb Vault] then I have at least 17 Vaults,” Rihanna said.
This indicates that she has around 170 songs in the vault.
Despite this, due to her business and growing family, fans may have to wait a couple more years before RiRi properly returns to the mic.
