Statik Selektah Connects With Ab-Soul, Raekwon and Freddie Gibbs on “Champagne Wishes”

Statik Selektah assembles an impressive lineup on “Champagne Wishes,” bringing Ab-Soul, Raekwon and Freddie Gibbs together over his signature soulful, sample-driven production.

Released October 16, the track highlights three distinctive approaches to lyricism, connecting Wu-Tang royalty with two of contemporary rap’s most respected voices. The laid-back backdrop gives each MC room to deliver, keeping the focus on their writing and contrasting flows.

“Champagne Wishes” previews Statik’s forthcoming album, Expensive Taste, scheduled for November 6 through Mass Appeal.
