Migos are currently one of the biggest names in music. It has come from years and years of endless works through a large catalog of songs, mixtapes, and music videos. Migos tell Zane Lowe of Beats 1 that their next step is in movies.
Following the footsteps of Hip-Hop artist before them Quavo states that he has been writing scripts and was inspired growing up seeing some of his favorite artist in film.
Quavo says “I’m a ’90s baby and all my favorite movies got all my dope artists in ’em. Juice, Menace II Society, All the Snoop Dogg movies, Master P movies, I Got the Hook-Up, Baller Blockin’ the Big Tymers movie. That’s what we’re doing right now; we’re looking into the script.”
It will be interesting to see what film Migos come up with. The one time we were able to see Migos on the screen was on Donald Glover’s award winning show Atlanta. Twitter was buzzing the whole evening about the great job of acting that Quavo exhibited in that episode. We’ll just have to wait and see.
