XXXTentacion received a posthumous honor at the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards, winning the award for Best New Hip Hop Artist.
The 2018 BET Hip-Hop Awards was hosted at The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach, Fla., near XXX’s hometown. X was nominated in the Best New Hip Hop Artist category along with Juice Wrld, Lil Baby, Rich The Kid and BlocBoy JB, and ended up winning out. His award was accepted by his mother, Cleopatra Bernard, XXX’s former manager, and Bob Celestin X’s lawyer.
