Jim Jones has officially been charged in relation to his June arrest in Coweta County, Ga.
According to TMZ, Jim Jones is facing five felonies including three counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He also has one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana, less than an ounce.
Jim Jones was arrested back on June 20th after the car he was a passenger in lead Georgia police officers on a brief chase. Cops were attempting to pull over the driver’s Mercedes SUV. The ride collided with a police cruiser before the driver and the occupants exited the vehicle. Upon a search, police discovered marijuana, prescription pills including Oxycodone and Percocet, vape cartridges and two loaded handguns. Since no one in the vehicle admitted to possession of any of the items found, all were arrested. Jones is to be arraigned on the charges later this month.
