Philadelphia rapper Ar-Ab has been charged, along with eight other people, with heading a drug-trafficking organization in North Philadelphia.
An indictment for the case accuses Ab, born Abdul West, of heading a local gang that routinely distributed drugs in the area. Ab is charged with selling cocaine (five kilograms), crack (280 grams or more), methamphetamine (50 grams or more) and heroin (over 100 grams), reveals a press release from the United States Attorney’s Office posted on Thursday (Oct. 18).
