Cardi has had an amazing 2018. Releasing her debut album, selling out her debut collection with Fashion Nova, giving birth, making all kinds of history on the charts, etc. Another celebration is in order, Cardi reveals in an Instagram post to announcing that she was able to buy her mother her dream home.
“Stay down till you come up !” Cardi captioned the Instagram video she posted. “Its always been a dream to buy my mother a house .Last year i was so thirsty to buy my mom a house but the ones i was interested for her weren’t at my price range .I worked and worked and now I’m here !! Thank you everybody who supported me to make my childhood dreams come true! Buy my momma a house !!…..don’t ask me for shit motherfuckers i got big girls bills.”
In the video snippets shared on IG, Cardi gives a tour of the new home, referring to being able to make such a monumental purchase for her mom as the “happiest day of my life.”
“Last year, I was so thirsty to buy my mom a home, and I could only afford a house that cost $600,000, and you know, we live in New York,” she continues, showing off the home’s gorgeous interior and giving a glimpse into the foyer, kitchen and stairway.
“I waited, I waited, I waited, I waited until I could afford a dream home,” she adds.
