A Boogie Wit da Hoodie’s trip to Japan took a chaotic turn this past weekend after the Bronx rapper found himself in the middle of a wild nightclub brawl.
The 29-year-old was in Tokyo for the Force Festival—a star-studded event featuring Future, Central Cee, Metro Boomin, Trippie Redd, Sexyy Red, Latto, and Polo G—when things reportedly spiraled out of control at the Magic City Takeover at Zouk Japan on Friday night (October 3).
Clips that quickly spread across social media show A Boogie and his entourage tangled up in a violent altercation with another group inside the club. In the footage, one man is seen being stomped out on the floor while others throw hands in the packed venue.
TMZ obtained video of the aftermath, which looked like something out of a battlefield: overturned furniture, cash scattered across the floor, and partygoers scrambling to get out of the way.
A Boogie himself was hard to miss in the chaos—rocking bright yellow Air Jordan 4 Retro Lightning sneakers, standing elevated on a platform. Witnesses say he looked ready to hurl something into the crowd, as someone can be heard in the background yelling, “put the bottle down!”
It’s still unclear what sparked the melee, though people inside the club allege Boogie’s team came in the most aggressively. Despite the destruction, no arrests have been reported as of now.
Adding to the early speculation, some online chatter suggested Future’s entourage may have been involved, but TMZ later shut down those claims.
The incident comes just days after A Boogie had a viral moment stateside, when he previewed a new single flipping Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together” during a stream with Kai Cenat. The moment felt full-circle, considering Mariah herself recently hopped on Kai’s stream and gave A Boogie props, calling him one of her favorite artists right now.
From viral snippets to nightclub mayhem halfway across the world, A Boogie’s name has been in the headlines heavy—and for better or worse, fans are definitely paying attention.
