A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has earned his first No. 1 album of his career.
According to a report Billboard published Monday (Jan. 14), A Boogie’s second project Hoodie SZN has just topped the Billboard 200 album after moving 58,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. last week. Most of the sales were driven largely by streaming activity.
Of the 58,000 equivalent album units, 56,000 coming from streaming equivalent album units (equaling 83 million on-demand audio streams for the album’s 20 tracks), 1,000 from track equivalent units and 1,000 from traditional album sales.
Boogie took to his Twitter account to post a message. “Numero UNO…THE TOP FEELS SO GOOD!!!,” he tweeted along with the hashtags #BRONXBABY, #HIGHBRIDGE and #NUMBER1.”
