A$AP Relli has officially dropped his civil lawsuit against fellow A$AP Mob member A$AP Rocky, stemming from a 2021 shooting incident.
Relli’s attorney confirmed the decision, stating that his client is “ready to move on from the shooting,” describing the entire ordeal as “a nightmare” that “eliminated his chances of a career in the industry.”
While Relli is no longer pursuing civil action over the alleged shooting, he is still suing A$AP Rocky and his lawyer, Joe Tacopina, for defamation. The defamation suit centers on statements made publicly by Tacopina, who referred to Relli’s previous claims as “extortion” and a “get-rich-quick scheme.”
The move marks a partial resolution in the long-running dispute between the two former collaborators, though the legal battle continues in the form of Relli’s defamation claims.
