ASAP Rocky Credits Himself For Knicks Victory
The Knicks completed the largest comeback victory in NBA history after trailing by as many as 29 points in the second half. And A$AP Rocky believes that he is the reason for it.
“We were down by like 20 … [the win] was because of me, I’m the good luck charm. I was up there in the box, cheering, going crazy. Thank me later,” he said in a clip caught by Kurrco on X.

Of course, fans in the post’s comments section had a lot to say about the clip.
“Guess the Knicks finally found a charm that actually works,” one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Nope, Wu Tang inspired the comeback with that halftime performance. The Energy shifted,” a second user chimed in.
“New Yorkers are about to be insufferable. But they deserve this moment,” a third user added.
Rocky was just one of several stars in attendance at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday Night. Taylor Swift, Tracy Morgan, and Fat Joe were also among the celebs in attendance. While the Wu-Tang Clan performed at halftime.
Everything looked lost for the Knicks to start the game. The Spurs seemingly couldn’t miss a shot, and the defensive dominance of Victor Wembanyama was on full display.
But the Knicks kept fighting away and were able to erase the seemingly insurmountable lead. Thanks in large part to their star forward, OG Anuoby. Whose go-ahead bucket in the waning moments of the fourth sealed a victory for the Knicks.
New York will have a chance to put a bow on their miracle season on Saturday (June 13), when the series shifts back to San Antonio.
