ASAP Rocky is one of the more fashionable rappers in the game. And he recently tapped another legendary New York rapper for a new Ray Ban campaign — Nas.
A$AP Rocky Taps Nas For ‘Belly’ Themed Ray Ban Campaign
The new campaign pays homage to the cult classic film, Belly.
In the 1998 film directed by Hype Williams, Nas’s character, Sincere, often sported the JPG oval-shaped sunglasses. Which became an iconic accessory following the film’s release.
In the promo for the new glasses, Nas and Rocky portray the iconic restaurant scene between Sincere and Tommy Bunz (played by DMX)

In February 2025, Rocky was officially revealed as the new creative director of Ray Ban. His alignment with the luxury eyeglasses company came as a result of his 2025 gun assault trial. He would often sport the specs to court.
Following the announcement, Ray-Ban President Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio shared his excitement about welcoming Rocky to the iconic brand.
“[Rocky is] a visionary artist and creator. His ability to push the boundaries of the diverse worlds he explores aligns with the Ray-Ban DNA. We are reinforcing the brand’s values of innovation, pioneering spirit, and courage. Let the future begin!”
