A new hip-hop beef appears to be on the horizon. Ahead of Clipse’s new album, one of the group’s members, Pusha T, appears to have taken issue with rap star, Travis Scott.
A$AP Rocky, Mike Dean, Tyler The Creator Appear to Side With Pusha T
In Clipse’s newest single, titled “So Be It”, Pusha T doesn’t call Travis by name. But gives hints like mentions of Utopia (Travis’s 2023 album) and someone who has an ex-girlfriend whose “Lipgloss is popping” (Kylie Jenner).
Despite the newness of this budding feud, some members of the hip-hop community are already choosing sides.
Through the thoroughness of a select number of social media investigators, it was discovered that Mike Dean and A$AP Rocky recently liked the post about Pusha T’s newest song aiming at Travis.
Tyler the Creator also reposted the song to his social media story with the accompanying caption “Yeah mannnn.”

After seeing the reactions to Pusha’s latest track fans sounded off on social media.
“Lol. Travis is bigger than Rocky and Tyler the Creator. Nothing is going to destroy Travis’s career. Get over it,” one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“It’s time for the culture to kill off Travis Scott like he killed those people at Astroworld. We should’ve never forgiven him,” one fan said, noting Travis’s responsibility in the 2021 Astroworld tragedy.
“Nice, Drake is out, and Travis will be too, who´s next on the list? Which one of these so-called rappers,” another user added.
Pusha T’s beef with Scott stems from a 2023 incident, where he interrupted Clipse’s studio session with Pharrell to let him hear his “Utopia” album. Scott played the whole album for Clipse and Pharrell including the infamous Meltdown track. Except the version that Clipse and Pharrell heard omitted Drake’s controversial verse aimed toward Pharrell. Meltdown would go on to be one of the most popular songs on the album.
