The saga of Lil Tjay’s rumored involvement in an incident that left rap star Offset hospitalized with a gunshot wound has turned another chapter.
Akademiks Posts Updated Photo of Lil Tjay’s Mugshot
In an Instagram post on Tuesday (April 7), media personality DJ Akademiks posted an updated mugshot of Lil Tjay, who was arrested in Florida on Monday night (April 6). However, as Lil TJay’s Dawn Florio previously said, the rapper was not arrested on any charges linked to Offset’s shooting.
According to Akademiks, the Run It Up artist was booked on charges of disorderly conduct and a traffic violation. With his bond totaling up to $3000, he should be released on those charges soon.
Mugshots have been released for Lil Tjay from the incident last night. Currently, he’s being charged with disorderly conduct and a traffic violation. There is a cash bond for both he should be out soon unless other charges are added. He was arrested by police at the casino,” Akademiks wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday.
It seems to be purely coincidental that Lil Tjay was arrested outside of the same casino on the same night that Offset was shot. Fans began to link the two incidents to each other. But that doesn’t appear to be the case.
However, the Seminole Police did say that they had “detained” two individuals in the aftermath of the melee outside of the Hard Rock Casino in Florida.
“Seminole Police were on site immediately, and the situation was contained quickly,” a rep from the police department told TMZ on Monday. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure, and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.”
Thankfully, Offset appears to be on track to make a full recovery. After a rep for the former Migos star told the outlet that he is “fine.”
