Akademiks has found himself in hot water over the recent comments that he made about rap star Cardi B.
It is no secret that the Bodak Yellow creator has had a tumultuous romantic life over the past several years. Shortly after filing for divorce from her rap star husband, Offset, in August 2024, Cardi began dating New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs. But now her relationship with the NFL star also appears to be a wash. And in both instances, it appears that infidelity was a factor.
Akademiks Under Fire For Recent Comments About Cardi B
During a recent stream, media personality, DJ Akademiks, says that he can “understand” why Offset and Stefon chose to cheat on Cardi B.
“You see two or three of those n****s b*tches and be like, I can understand why he’s f*cking these girls on the side. Yo Cardi, those b*tches are bad. I’m still putting you up there because you’re my homie, but his side chicks are bad,” Akademiks said (Via JoeBuddenClips/X). “… Cardi, I give you the number one spot, but it’s not like he’s f*cking a bunch of ugly ducklings.”

Akademiks’ comments did not sit well with the members of Bardi Gang. As her fans were quick to come to her defense on social media.
“Sounds like he wants himself some Offset and Stefon,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“As ugly as Ak is, his opinion is null and void. There is no “understanding” when it comes to cheating,” a second user added.
“Can anybody name or show at least one b***h this Telly tubby oompa loompa looking n***a ever been seen with that look better than Cardi?” a third user chimed in.
At the time of writing, Cardi B has not responded to the recent comments made by DJ Akademiks.
